What to Expect When We Deliver Firewood
When you order firewood from Grabeldinger Firewood, we want the experience to be simple, efficient, and reliable. Whether you're heating a home, fueling a campfire, or stocking up for winter, here’s exactly what you can expect when we pull into your driveway.
Delivery Zones and Timing
We serve a wide area across Upstate New York, with defined delivery zones based on distance. Each zone has its own pricing and minimum order requirements — you can view our full delivery zone map and rates on our Firewood Pricing Page.
We usually schedule deliveries within a 1–5 day window, depending on your location and the season. During peak fall and early winter months, we recommend ordering ahead to avoid delays.
What We Deliver
You can order:
Split, seasoned hardwood (ready to burn)
Green hardwood (for those who prefer to season their own)
Full log loads (ideal for large properties or DIY firewood cutters)
Our firewood is cut to standard stove length unless you request custom sizing when ordering.
How We Unload
We deliver using a dump trailer or truck, depending on your order size. We'll drop the load as close as possible to your desired location, assuming:
The site is accessible by truck or trailer
The ground is firm and clear of overhead obstacles
Moisture Content and Quality
We only deliver seasoned firewood that’s dry and ready to burn, unless otherwise requested. Every batch is:
Air-dried and stored properly
Checked for moisture content
Free of excessive dirt or punky wood
If you ever have concerns about the quality, we’ll make it right.
What We Need From You
Before delivery:
Clear a space for the drop
Make sure access is open (gates unlocked, cars moved)
Confirm your order size and type
On delivery day, you don’t need to be home — but we do ask that you double-check your requested drop location in advance.
Firewood delivery should never be a hassle. With us, it’s straightforward, on time, and tailored to your needs. Let us handle the heavy lifting — you handle the fire.
